Position title: Board Link Position
Description: Board member position available. Generation Green currently has a vacant board position. Generation Green currently has 3 main projects.
A. The Dumpster Diversion Project. The primary goal of the DDP is to educate the community on recycling and reuse through community events and hands on art for children and adults. The DDP also provides discards collected to teachers, artists and after school programs. The DDP goal is to someday have a reuse center in Contra Costa County.
B. Contra Costa Climate leaders. CCCL holds quarterly workshops to assist local cities on sustainability issues and climate change.
C. Green Rheem Movie Night. We work with 3 other non profits to showcase a monthly film on the environment at the Rheem Theater in Moraga on the second Thursday of the month.

Ideally, we would love to have a board member that can assist with grant writing or fund raising for any of the above projects. Board meetings are held monthly in Pleasant Hill on the third Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Round Tale Pizza on Oak Park Blvd.
Board Member Responsibilities:: Attend monthly board meeting on Third Thursday of the month.
Be able to assist in various projects.
