College Track is an after-school, college preparatory program that helps students from under-resourced communities in the Bay Area graduate from high school and succeed in college. College Track does this by setting high expectations for student achievement and offering a variety of programs in our three core service areas: Academic Affairs, Student Life, and College Affairs. The Academic Affairs Program is currently seeking volunteer tutors to work with our highly motivated high school students in the areas of math, writing, history, physics, biology, chemistry, trigonometry, algebra, and AP courses. Requirements: • Bachelors Degree or enrolled as a sophomore or higher of undergraduate degree. • Minimum one- year experience working with high school students. • Previous tutoring experience. • Specialized in one or more core high school subject areas. (Dual subject strengths preferred.) • Familiarity with effective study skills strategies highly desirable. • Experience working with and an understanding of issues related to racial, ethnic, class, and gender equity in education for students at the secondary and post secondary levels. • Clear criminal record check and TB test

Take US-101 north towards San Francisco for 11 miles.
Continue on I-80 east towards Bay Bridge/Oakland for 7.5 miles.
Take the I-580 east/downtown Oakland (CA-24) exit towards Hayward-Stockton and go 2 miles.
Take the I-980 west exit towards downtown Oakland and drive 1 mile.
Take the 18th Street/14th Street exit for 0.2 miles.
Continue on Brush Street for 0.2 miles.
Turn left on 14th Street/International Drive and continue .5 miles.
You can also reach our Oakland center via BART. Exit at the 12th Street/Civic Center station in downtown Oakland; our building is at the corner of 14th and Broadway.
