As a beneficiary of the 2009 Academy of Friends Gala, Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland, which serves East Bay Counties, HIV-infected infants, children & adolescents, providing medical care and comprehensive psychosocial case management services for the children and their families -- need office assistance at Academy of Friends' office at 650 5th Street, San Francisco, M-F, to wrap up the details of the gala, as part of our volunteer commitment to this event and cause. Data entry assistance: (please bring a laptop) Skills set needed: Familiarity with databases (navigating a screen, entering data in fields, rather repetitive tasks), comfort with computers, excellent data entry ability (not prone to many errors) as you will be entering numbers and figures. Can wear comfortable clothing, as you will be working in an office. May be asked to answer phones and transfer calls when staff are not available, so a professional phone manner is necessary. Comfortable sitting at a desk and using a computer monitor for extended periods.
