Volunteer Opportunity Details:

EBCT is looking for volunteers who love to perform in front of children. This organization begins rehearsals in early January of each year after a play has been written by a professional. Rehearsals are each Tuesday and Thursday in the mornings. In mid-February we begin performing at elementary schools in the East Bay (Oakland/Berkeley) on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. We need volunteers who can sing, dance, and memorize lines. One play is performed during a season, usually a classic fairy tale with a modern twist. We also have paid performances at various sites on 3-4 Saturdays during the season.

Volunteers usually have some experience in musical theatre - are able to read music, sing, learn simple dance routines, and work as a team member with other troupers during the season.
