The Oakland Aviation Museum is looking for volunteers to serve as front desk staff in the Museum Store. Greet visitors as they arrive, sell admissions and memberships, make Museum Store sales, assist with Museum Store inventory and ordering and other adminstrative tasks.
This is a high public contact position. Full training provided.
Position requires a committment of 3 hours per week.
Be able to use a cash register and a credit card processing machine (We will train!)
Be friendly and flexible

From Highway 880 in Oakland take Hegenberger Road west, towards the airport. Follow Hegenberger all the way to Doolittle Drive. Cross over Doolittle at the light, getting into your right hand lane. You will begoing under the "Oakland International Airport" banner sign. Take the immediate right exit onto Earhart Road - follow the "Air Museum" sign. Proceed for 3/4 mile down Earhart Road to Cooke Street. Take right onto Cooke - you will see a large "Oakland Aviation Museum" sign. Pull in and park into the parking lot.
