Volunteer Opportunity Details:

This fall we are breaking ground at a brand new restoration site along Appian Creek at the Boys and Girls Club of El Sobrante. Join a team of volunteers to help transform this forgotten stretch of creek into a blooming and healthy place for kids to play and learn. We will be weeding out invasive grasses and shrubs and planting lovely native trees and flowers. Our restoration will help reduce flooding and erosion and will be part of a new stream-side park being built by the Boys and Girls Club.

All ages welcome. No training necessary. Please wear sturdy shoes and comfortable work clothes. SPAWNERS will provide tools and refreshments.
