The first Saturday of each month, a group of dedicated volunteers join forces with Redwood Rangers to tack this invasive pest. A lot of fun, coffee and camaraderie awaits new weed warriors! Meet at Skyline Gate Staging area, 8500 Skyline Blvd. Oakland, CA at 9am, rain(sprinkling) or shine. However, if it's dumping, we'll stay home and dream of pulling broom. Please wear long pants, long sleeves and sturdy work shoes. We often hike up to a mile from the trail head looking for sneaky patches of broom. Please RSVP so we can supply enough snacks!
