Medical Assistant Externships
Externs will be trained in a Medical Office setting by an experienced Medical Assistant. The externs will be evaluated by a Supervisor midway of the externship and will be given a final evaluation on the last day of completion of hours.

Externs will work with the Clinical Staff to provide the following; rooming patients,vital signs,taking patient history,stocking/cleaning rooms, assisting with minor surgery, giving injections(under supervision). Required-TB test, HEP B, Health Exam Certification, CPR certification, MOU signed by the school and on file at the Personnel office. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
