Become a volunteer tutor for the Hayward Library's new, exciting and free Homework Support Center. You will make a difference in Hayward by helping our elementary, middle school, and high school students succeed in school. Students are assisted by volunteer helpers in small groups of 2-3 students per group. The Homework Support Center is open from 3-5pm, Mondays through Thursdays at both the main branch and the Weekes Branch.   An interest and the ability to tutor children as well as help students develop good study habits. Volunteers must speak English and communicate well, be proficient in spelling, punctuation, and math.
