Admission Possible-Greater Milwaukee
Admission Possible’s mission is to help make college admission possible for promising low-income students by providing ACT and SAT test preparation services and admissions and financial aid consulting.
Description:
Admission Possible is a nonprofit organization founded Minnesota in September of 2000 and dedicated to helping promising, low-income students obtain admission to college. Admission Possible-Greater Milwaukee began operations in Milwaukee in the fall of 2008 in two Milwaukee high schools: Milwaukee School of Languages and South Division High School. Overall, 99% of the students we assisted have been admitted to college. Nearly 80% of our students who enrolled in college are still working toward their college degree or have graduated. By comparison, only 7% of all low-income students nationwide earn a college degree by age 24 (Education Trust). Students in our program have shown an average ACT score improvement of 20%!
