Mission: Programs and services that help individuals grow and develop; provide support and strengthen families.

Description:
Since 1978 the Bay View Community Center has been providing "quality of life" programs and services to individuals and families.
The Center provides programs for all ages. As a Family Resource Center, we provide activities for children as young as 6 weeks old with their parent(s) through playgroups and classes like yoga for parent and
baby. Kindermusik, Play with Signs Playtime, Little Artists, Kindertales and other classes provide toddlers opportunities to socialize with other children and be exposed to reading, art, dance and music. Classes and Clubs for school age children are provide along with one-on-one tutoring in math and reading.
Adult programs are provided in the area of Arts and Crafts; Food and Nutrition; Life Skills; Recreation and Day Trips.
A specialized social program for people age 50 and over provides monthly luncheons with entertainment - "Senior Selebrations"; monthly Bingo for fun and prizes; discussion groups and twice weekly exercise program called "Off Your Rocker" in collaboration with Columbia St Mary's Hospital.
Family activities such as Family Chefs, Holiday parties and trips are provide. Parent education and information classes are also provided.
