Mission: Milwaukee Christian Center believes all people deserve to be treated with compassion and respect. We exist to move people beyond the challenges of poverty through life-affirming programs and supportive services.

Vision: We are a community of hope that gathers to celebrate the value of all people, identify abundant opportunities, and enrich lives through the elimination of poverty.

Description:
Milwaukee Christian Center (MCC) has a wide variety of programming including after school programs, youth development and senior adult programs, emergency food pantry services, First Time Juvenile Offender Program (FTJOP) and Neighborhood Improvement Project (NIP).

MCC offers youth programs at four locations for ages 7-19. Our programs provide youth with academic enrichment, social development skills, community involvement and leadership activities in a safe environment, helping them become responsible members of the community.

MCC's Senior Adults Program offers health, recreation, language and nutrition services that help keep adults aged 60 and over remain independent, healthy and self-sufficient.

Each year MCC's emergency food pantry provides food staples to over 5,000 individuals who live on Milwaukee's south side. It also provides struggling mothers with diapers and formula for their infants and supplemental commodity boxes to targeted elderly and eligible mothers with children.

The Neighborhood Improvement Project (NIP) is a program of the MCC that has provided a variety of services to Milwaukee residents since 1975. It offers housing rehabilitation, graffiti removal, a ramp program, minor home repair, and a Youthbuild program. Youthbuild is a workforce development program that provides low-income, at-risk youth and young adults aged 18 to 21 with comprehensive training and employment services in order to help them lead responsible lives.
