Position title: Development Chairperson
Description: This volunteer would seek out and coordinate 3rd party events in the community, and coordinate fundraising events staged by the WBCC - primarily our main annual fundraiser, The Rare Chair Affair held each September. Responsibility for coordinating the creation and mailing of our annual appeal also falls to this director. This director may recruit committee members who do NOT serve on the WBCC board to achieve the goals of the committee. This director works closely with staff, the board president and treasurer, and chairperson of the communications committee. Ideally, the candidate will have a personal interest in our focus area of breast cancer advocacy and will participate in our activities promoting breast cancer advocacy
