This lively department has openings for individuals that are open minded and have a caring nature. Day Services has opportunities to interact with clients from late teens to adults with disabilities. Community integration is a huge part of client's goals therefore we need volunteers to assist with daily outings.
Art therapy, gardening, cooking, letter writing, music therapy are a few of the "tracks" that help our clients achieve their goals.
Weekend activities also require volunteers! This department has it all!
To best be suited for this department we require the volunteer to be 18 years or older, be able to pass a criminal background check, attend a 2 hour orientation. We will administer a TB test at orientation. This opportunity is sponsored by: Milwaukee Center for Independence
