Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Visit and give support to incarcerated persons at the Milwaukee County Jail. These volunteers are compassionate and caring and open to mutually share life experiences with the inmates. Meet the person one-on-one and form an ongoing relationship with the person while he/she is incarcerated. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. Training is given. Hours needed for visitors are Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00-11:00am or 3:00-5:00pm. Evening hours are also a possibility. One session per week is appreciated.
