Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Visit and support the hospice patient who does not qualify for continuous nursing care because the patient is not in crisis. The patient's death is immanent and the dying process has started. Support can include talking and sharing with patient, being willing to listen. Comfort care may include comforting words, presence through touch, and hand holding even if patient is unresponsive.
