Join our team of child care volunteers and help take care of children once a month for 2 1/4 hours while our program mothers attend a meeting. Meetings generally are held on the 3rd Monday of the month from 6:00 to 8:15 p.m..
Mother to Mother is a mentoring program for mothers who are looking for emotional support and encouragement while raising their children or while pregnant. Many of our program mothers live at or below the poverty guidelines and are living in isolation due to language barriers, lack of transportation or other factors.
Able to pass a background check and must have taken or be willing to take a 2 1/2 hour Virtus class.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and have child care experience.

From K-7 in Olathe, go south of Santa Fe to Wabash St. and turn left (east). Go to Lee Ave. (about two blocks) and make a right. Go two blocks and the First Presbyterian Church is on the right. Park in the back and enter the back door. |
