Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Here is the perfect opportunity to become a friend and regular visitor to a nursing home resident. Make regular visits to chat, read and write letters, play cards or watch TV. Activities include: 1:1 visits with resident(s), escort and assist resident with group activities, read to resident from their mail, books and newspapers, write letters for residents, escort residents outside to our courtyard area, bring registered volunteer pets. Volunteers must be sociable and have an interest in sharing with older adults. Must be willing to commit to regular visits. Call Kim or Jean if interested.

Orientation is provided to all volunteers.
