Come join in the fun this Fall by planting trees in Osawatomie! This planting will take place on Saturday September 26, 2009 along the Railroad tracks in the Marais Des Cygnes River Basin in Osawatomie, KS. This planting project will add environmental sustainability to the basin and aesthetic appeal to the community's railway area. There are no training requirements for the planting. The planting will be physical labor, so any volunteers will need to be in a good physical condition. Young children would be discouraged from attending, because of large equipment usage.
