Marian E. Burch Adult Day Care Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The Center was designed to provide medical, rehabilitation over-night respite services and social activities to clients 18 years or older with physical or mental disabilities. The Burch Center specializes in care for adults who are suffering from: Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, Head injuries or postoperative brain tumor, Multiple Sclerosis or a Stroke. The Burch Center provides quality Adult Day Care for persons who are: Socially isolated, Depressed, Physically frail, Amputees, Severely arthritic and Developmentally disabled. Offering a variety of Recreational Activities, Music Therapy, Outings, Entertainment, Therapy as well as Medical Monitoring for our clients. The Center can provide transportation to anyone living in Calhoun County.

History:
Marian E. Burch Adult Day Care Center was built in 1992 and is a 16,000 square foot handicapped accessible building. We are a non profit 501 (c3) Center. We have 16 paid staff members and work with many volunteers. The center currently has approximately 100 clients enrolled and has a capacity of 60 per day. The average daily attendance is 55 per day. The Center is located in Battle Creek.
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has designated the Burch Center as a national model.
