Albion Volunteer Service Organization

The mission of the Albion Volunteer Service Organization is to enhance the quality of life in greater Albion by promoting volunteerism and supporting local organizations in meeting community needs.

Description:
We provide opportunities for Albion residents to give back to their community through volunteering. We support local nonprofits by helping recruit volunteers for their events as well as promoting those events. We help resolve community problems by bringing together community members in an environment where they can feel free to openly communicate.

History:
In 1985, David Moore, President of the Albion Civic Foundation, had an idea for a volunteer service center in Albion. That dream became a reality through the efforts of many, culminating in the opening of the the Albion Volunteer Service Center in November 1988.
