 Purpose/Goal: To keep the client involved in the community and to enhance their sense of self worth. Tasks: Provide assistance to clients on outings (eating out, movies, fishing, zoo, shopping,etc)with mobility and getting the most out of the event. The ADC ration of client to staff/volunteer is 1:1. The Center provides transportation for the clients and the volunteers have the option to ride the ADC bus or meet the clients at the event.
Volunteers will need to come in to fill out a volunteer application, mini tour of Center, Orientation with Volunteer Coordinator, anyone over 18 years old must consent to a criminal background check.
