Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We are looking for individuals to share their knowledge and work with the clients teaching them creative arts such as: pottery, weaving, ceramics, meditative painting, calligraphy or another talent you would know and would like to share and teach the clients who attend adult day care. Art in the Activity Program is a great tool to use with clients who may have some type of disability. It also increases the ability to use energy in a positive way and to possibly eliminate negative behaviors. Clients involved in art programs display a sense of pride in what they have created and they also will reminisce about previous experiences with friends or family engaged in an art project of some type. It is great to see the smiles on the client's faces when they have participated in and completed a project.

Volunteers are required to fill out a volunteer application and sign a HIPAA Confidentiality form.
