Volunteer Opportunity Details:

With recent building additions, we are now able to offer large community-wide (facility-wide) events. Residents enjoy coming to the Whispering Pines Community Center for special programs and events with family and friends. Entertainers of all kinds are welcome from individuals or groups. Whether you play an instrument, do comedy, a dance routine or something completely different, this opportunity is for you.

Entertainment Groups are best attended by residents and some of their family members between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. or between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Other times may be arranged for smaller group events.

Calhoun County Medical Care Facility requires new volunteers to complete a brief application, a consent for a criminal history check and complete a 30 minute orientation and tour with the volunteer coordinator or life enrichment staff.
