Make a Difference at Spooky Science Saturday
"Nature's Nightmares"
Saturday, October 24, 2009
Last year Kingman Museum partnered with HandsOn Battle Creek and other area businesses and non profits for Making a Difference at Spooky Science Saturday, which attracted over 1000 visitors. This year, Leila Arboretum Society is also partnering with us and will host FREE activities in its Children's Garden. It will be a fun-filled day building community involvement. Won't you join us to make a difference?
HandsOn Battle Creek, in honor of National Make a Difference Day, will be collecting donations for CityLinC. The community is encouraged to bring school supply items (pencils, notebooks, folders, glue, etc.) to this event anytime on Saturday, October 24th from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
This year "Make a Difference at Spooky Science Saturday" will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2009 from 11:00am - 5:00pm. Volunteers are needed prior to the day of the event and throughout the day of the event to assist with a variety of tasks ranging from decorating, stuffing goody bags, greeting guests at the Planetarium, and more. We will need lots of help and would love your participation in this community-wide event. This is a great opportunity for a groups, organizations, families, and individuals to become involved!
