Volunteer Drivers For Road To Recovery Program
RSS XML FeedBackground Active Nov 2, 2009 to Dec 2, 2009

Your American Cancer Society needs your help!

The Road to Recovery is a program that connects volunteers with cancer patients who need rides to their medical appointments. The need for volunteer drivers is currently at an all time high and we are unable to fill requests for transportation. With gas prices rising and Michigan winter coming we know that the need will continue to grow.

Can you help?
Drivers set their own schedules and can drive weekly, monthly, or as often as you choose.  You may use your car at your own expense, or use one of our vehicles at our expense.  All you need is a valid drivers license, proof of insurance and a short training that is provided free of charge by the American Cancer Society.

For more information contact Ann at 349-8719 or
ann.zoromsky@cancer.org

Please help us assure that cancer patients get to their radiation, chemotherapy and other critical appointments!
