Family Volunteer Day
RSS XML FeedBackground Active Nov 5, 2006 to Nov 18, 2006

Family Volunteer Day showcases the benefits of Families working together, introduces them to community service and encourages those who haven't made the commitment  to volunteer as a family.

Volunteering as a family provides quality time, stregthens communication and offers opportunities for family members to be role models while making significant contributions to their neighborhoods. Family volunteering encourages lifelong volunteers and a legacy of volunteering for the next generation to carry on in to the future.

During Family Volunteer Day communities worldwide work with families, corporations, nonprofits and Volunteer Centers to make volunteering a family tradition.
