Mentors are needed to serve as Non-Certified Ombudsmen at care centers. The non-resident ombudsmen will do "walk throughs" at care facilities but will NOT do investigations. We need to make sure that people at these facilities are receiving the care they need and deserve. Volunteers need to be a resident of their respective county. 20 hours of training will be given (12 hours at home with a manual, then 4 hours at the Volunteer Center in St. George on November 10, then 4 hours of shadowing). Continue past the bridge and take a left near the future Dixie Commons area, into a professional business plaza. We are located in the Five County Association of Governments building. |
