Mission: To enrich the lives of older adults, provide them with supportive health and social services and give respite care and assistance to families and caregivers. The Caring Place emphasizes stimulating, life-enhancing activity and sociability. Individual abilities and interests are an important consideration in daily programming.
Description:
The Caring Place adult day center is located in downtown Waukesha and has been operating since 1988. The Caring Place is open Monday through Friday, 7:00a.m. to 5:30p.m. The program services adults 50 years of age and older with physical disabilities and/or moderate mental impairments. The Caring Place is a non-profit corporation, certified by the State of Wisconsin and managed by a Board of Directors. It is one of 41 United Way agencies in Waukesha County.
