Description:
SOS has touched the lives of 1105 individuals, comprised of 382 unduplicated families in 2008. Of these clients, 501 were children. SOS has proven client relationships with neighbors who are struggling to meet their basic needs. We provide direct services such as food, clothing, emergency financial assistance and referrals and connections to resources. More importantly, we build relationships with our clients based on trust, support and advocacy for their needs. With the help of our supporters we have several holiday based distributions per year. SOS is well known in the community for being as responsive as possible to the needs of our clients.
