on Aging Resources, Inc. is to deliver innovative
support to aging lead agencies as we work
together to protect the well-being of older
people in Wisconsin.

Description:
The primary activity of GWAAR is to provide guidance and oversight to county aging units in the provision of Older Americans Act services. We also provide counseling for Medicare beneficiaries and family members, and offer presentations about Medicare. The Generations on Line Coaching opportunity is related to a regional initiative to increase computer literacy among seniors in order to enhance their access to information and civic engagement.

History:
The Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources was formed in January of 2009 after the merger of four Agencies on Aging that served the counties in Wisconsin other than Dane and Milwaukee counties.
