The organization provides gently used clothing, household goods, toys, furniture, health and hygiene items, at no cost, to those in need.

Description:
To bring caring individuals together in a spirit of cooperation. Solicit resources (volunteers, services and goods)from local churches, organizations, businesses and caring individuals. Assist the working poor and those in temporary need. Provide a facility from which to coordinate the above services.

History:
In 1990, Eileen Mooers began collecting gently used items to distribute to those in need out of her home. In 1995 Lake Country Caring was born and moved to a Delafield location, which quickly became too small. In 2005 the location in Hartland became the permanent home of Lake Country Caring.
