Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Support our staff and provide friendship and assistance with recreational activities,such as games, music, crafts, and discussions to seniors with physical disabilities ranging from stroke to arthritis and/or mental confusion resulting from dementia. Interact with clients on a one-to-one basis, stimulating client conversation. Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday for 2-5 hrs between 7:00am-5:00pm, once or twice per month. Training and orientation will be provided.

Requirements: Volunteers must be a minimum of 18 years old and possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a friendly professional demeanor and the ability to interact with individuals with disabilities. Volunteers must have a respect for confidentiality.
