Volunteer Opportunity Details:

There are 3 elements to order fulfillment and assignment will be based on your ability, interest, and our need. The first involves pushing a cart down a row of food items and pulling product as listed on a work order. Some bending and light to moderate lifting may be involved. The second involves assembling full cases of product on a palette which you push or pull down a row of products using a palette jack. Heavy lifting is involved. The third involves double checking the finished orders by counting the products assembled. Bending is involved, but no heavy lifting. For all assignments accuracy rather than speed is what is needed. These opportunities occur on a monthly basis. Volunteer for a minimum of two hours with no maximum. You do not have to volunteer for the entire day. Groups are welcome. Days are one Wed. & or Thurs. a month from 8:30am-4:00pm. Lunch is served at Noon. Please reply to schedule your interest. Tours are given to groups & individuals on request.

Requirements: Volunteers must be a minimum age of 14 and older. Upon arrival brief training and demonstration is provided. Sandals and shorts not advised during the summer for safety reasons.
