The Waukesha County Backpack Coalition consists of several local Social Service Agencies including the Volunteer Center Division. The Coalition united to help provide children from financially challenged families from Waukesha County with school supplies and backpacks. In 2007, over 1,700 backpacks were filled with age appropriate school supplies and distributed to students in need in Waukesha County.
