The United Way Volunteer Center is pleased to announce the Volunteer Recognition and Celebration Event, April 2, 2009. Join us as we honor the following outstanding volunteers: Volunteer of the Year: Jean Ormbsy, for her exceptional service to the Waukesha County Backpack Coalition                                      Youth Volunteer of the Year: Samantha Anderson, for the tutoring program she began at Waukesha Public Library Volunteer Group of the Year: Waukesha Service Club, for raising millions of dollars to support the community Business Group of the Year: Kohl's Corporation, for exceptional support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Milwaukee Bruce Gill Executive Volunteer of the Year: Stuart Schroeder, for outstanding service and encouragement of employee volunteerism Community Leader of the Year: Gert Wilkinson, for her continued legacy of excellence in serving the community The Volunteer Recognition and Celebration Event will be held at the Country Springs Hotel, Grand Ballroom from 11:30am-1:30pm. Tickets are $40 per person, registrations must be received by Monday, March 23rd.
