Angelcat Haven Feline Rescue
Our mission is to work on reducing the stray and feral cat overpopulation through education, reduced cost spay-neuter programs, and community trap and rescue programs. We put every effort, where possible, into socializing the stray and feral cats we rescue so that they can live out their lives in a warm, loving new home. And where we are not successful in socializing, establish accountability with the community and neighborhoods for the altered and released cats so that they are fed and cared for as they live out the remainder of their lives.
Description:
Angelcat Haven feline rescue is an all volunteer, 501c3 non-profit organization, dedicated to rescuing homeless and stray cats in need of a HAVEN while waiting for their loving new homes. We support local shelters by rescuing the cats that they just don’t have room for. We serve parts of Bristol and Norfolk Counties in Massachusetts.
History:
Our organization was formed out of necessity to help save a 4-month old stray kitten, named Maddie. With a wound of an unknown origin, requiring a 6-month quarantine, and a broken leg, we fought for 5 days to save her and could not. Her wounds were too extensive for her little body to handle. Although she was small, she had a huge impact on our lives - she is our Angelcat.
