Serve Rhode Island connects people with opportunities to serve their communities, through volunteerism and national service.
Description:
We seek to identify some 20,000 new volunteers, in response to a statewide survey of non-profit organizations which indicated that such a need exists. We are asking people to register here and pledge to volunteer at least two hours a month. Rhode Island needs our help! Please join us.
History:
In January 2009, The Volunteer Center of Rhode Island and Serve Rhode Island joined forces to create a centralized, statewide organization dedicated to community service.
