Operation Homefront provides emergency and morale assistance to our troops, the families they leave behind and the wounded warriors when they return home.

Description:
Operation Homefront is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to serving military families that are Active Duty, Currently Deployed or Wounded. We have 17 program areas we focus on from emergency financial assistance, home repairs, car repairs, ect. to Back to School Backpack program for children. We serve the E1 to E6 in rank the lowest paid and a financial emergency can sometimes devastate these families, let alone the stress the families is under while a loved one is deployed.

History:
Operation Homefront was established after September 11 by military wives who understood the issues facing the military families of Active Duty, Deployed and Wounded. The Maine Chapter was Chartered in 2007 by National and expanded to New England in the last 3 months.
