The Rhode Island Parent Information Network (RIPIN), a nonprofit organization founded in 1991, is seeking applications for membership on our volunteer Board of Directors. Our all-volunteer Board meets monthly from September through June and is charged with developing or revising agency policies, ensuring the financial health of the organization, including fundraising, and providing input on the mission, programs, and services. Time commitment is approximately 3 to 4 hours per month. Meetings are from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Pawtucket.
We seek a certified public account with experience or knowledge of nonprofit fund accounting who will chair the finance committee of the board and work with the Director of Finance, Board Chair, etc.
RIPIN is a statewide organization that empowers, informs, supports and trains parents, individuals and family-serving professionals to be effective advocates for their children, families, communities and themselves.
