Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Easter Seals is a special place. We are committed to finding the unique solution for each and every individual child such as child representative Paxton Williams. When Paxton first came to Easter Seals four years ago, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy which affected her ability to move and coordinate the use of her muscles. Today, Paxton is a typical four year old—going to school, playing with her dolls, and zipping around everywhere in her pink walker. Her family is overjoyed with her remarkable progress and the support they have received from Easter Seals. As the communications intern for Easter Seals Rhode Island, the successful candidate's priority will be to build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with various media outlets. Responsibilities include assisting the development office in implementing an effective communications plan (goal and objectives vary) to increase public awareness of our Early Intervention programs as well as special events.
Easter Seals Rhode Island is looking for a creative student who can work within a team structure as well as independently and has the necessary leadership skills to work on a communications campaign. Strong written and verbal communication a must! The successful candidate must also be highly organized and detail orientated. This opportunity is sponsored by: Easter Seals Rhode Island
