Providence ¡CityArts! for Youth seeks volunteers to help with our daytime and after school arts education programs. Our classes are offered at a variety of days and times during the week so we are able to provide opportunities that fit into your academic schedule. Your commitment to CityArts could range from one to up to four afternoons a week. Some of these opportunities include but are not limited to: • Help in the classroom as a teaching assistant • Provide technical studio support • Help document our programs as a reporter or photographer • Provide our offices with web and other tech support • Assist with sign in/sign out of students during arrival & pick up • Help with special events and fundraisers • Help with family engagement workshops and events • Help maintain our gardens • Design your own service project!
¡CityArts! volunteers are responsible and creative individuals who are dedicated to the betterment of our community and the youth who live in it. Experience working with youth is recommended, but not required – ¡CityArts! staff will train and fully prepare you for your commitment. Proficiency in Spanish is a huge plus.
