Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on November 23, 2009

Volunteers are needed to staff the kettles for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign between November 21st and December 24th at Shaw’s Supermarket and Wal-Mart in Woonsocket and Stop & Shop and Brigido's in North Smithfield. There are many hours to fill at all locations. Individuals, families, friends and social groups are welcome to ring the bell! If you have 2, or more, hours to volunteer Bell Ringing we could use your help! We ring 7 days per week from Noon-6pm until 12/12 and then we ring from Noon-8pm.

Ring the bell to raise needed funds! 90% of funds will stay right here in Woonsocket & North Smithfield to help us provide assistance to vulnerable individuals and families.

Volunteers must complete a simple agency volunteer application, speak to a screening rep as well as submit a photo id for our records. Two bell ringing locations are outside and one is inside. Students under the age of 18 are welcome to ring the bell when accompanied by an adult.
