Volunteer as a Family at Providence Children’s Museum! Family Volunteers are specially trained families (any adult-child pair) who serve as play models for Museum visitors by assisting with educational programs and welcoming and engaging families in exhibits. They can be found “Stacking Up” towers and problem solving in the FetchLab, experimenting with other families at the swirling whirlpool in Water Ways and inventing new games to play in the Coming to Rhode Island Story Center. Family Volunteers: • Participate in a one-on-one mentoring session • Volunteer for a 2 hour shift twice each month • Receive ongoing supervision and support from Museum staff • Love to play and learn together!
