| Last updated on November 21, 2009 |
We are in need of a volunteer who will take on the full responsibility for our financial planning and developing as well as keeping our books. It is preferable if this person is a CPA and/or CFP with experience in non-profit organizations. We would like an energetic person with a passion for our cause who will be committed to accelerating the cure for Alzheimer's Disease. At the moment, the work required will not take up more than one or two hours per week. To learn more about the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation, Inc., please visit our website at www.alzCURE.org. We would also be grateful if a CPA with his own office would be able to offer us in-kind office space. Also, if you live in Rhode Island, please be sure to watch our new, educational, TV program about Alzheimer’s called “A Tribute to Memories… The Race for the CURE!” that airs every Monday at 9:00pm, statewide, channel 13 on Cox and 32 on Verizon. In addition, if you live in the Kent County network area of Rhode Island, you can also view the program every Sunday at 1:00pm and Wednesday at 7:00pm, channel 18 on Cox and 31 on Verizon. Kent County covers the towns of Warwick, West Warwick, East Greenwich, West Greenwich, North Kingstown, Coventry and Exeter. On Nov. 13th, 2009, we received THE RI PEG AWARD for our TV program in the category of BEST HEALTH TV PROGRAM on Public Access TV!
Although we specify the geographic locations as Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island, the candidate for this opportunity should be no further than one-hour away from Providence. This opportunity is sponsored by: Alzheimer's CURE Foundation, Inc.
