Persons with Alzheimer's Disease enjoy a better quality of life when they're involved in activities to stimulate their senses and memories.
Volunteers work alongside the Memory Care Unit Activities Department staff in small group and one-to-one activities such as hand crafts, cards, kick ball, singing, art activities, movement, bowling. Mornings and early afternoons.

Volunteer background checks, training, and orientation are provided. There is additional specialized training for these positions. Volunteers need to be able to make a regular weekly commitment for at least 4 months.

 FROM BARRINGTON, RI Take Route 114 East toward Warren and Bristol, At the intersection with Route 103, Turn LEFT onto Route 103 and then RIGHT onto Route 136 South for several miles. Just after Arnold Lumber which is on your right, there will be a stop light. At the light, TURN RIGHT onto Chestnut Street, then TURN RIGHT onto Alan Drive, and then TURN RIGHT onto Dawn Hill Road which is St. Elizabeth Manor. Please park in the right or left hand parking lots. FROM FALL RIVER, MA Take Route 195 WEST to Exit 2. Take Exit 2, Route 136 SOUTH (toward Warren & Bristol) Go for 6.3 miles. Just after Arnold Lumber which is on your right, there will be a stop light. At the light, TURN RIGHT onto Chestnut Street, then TURN RIGHT onto Alan Drive, and then TURN RIGHT onto Dawn Hill Road which is St. Elizabeth Manor. Please park in the right or left hand parking lots. FROM PORTSMOUTH and NEWPORT, RI Cross the Mount Hope Bridge into Bristol, taking Route 136 NORTH for 3.0 miles to Chestnut Street. At the Chestnut Street stoplight, TURN LEFT onto Chestnut Street, Then TURN RIGHT onto Alan Drive, and then TURN RIGHT onto Dawn Hill Road which is St. Elizabeth Manor. Please park in the right or left hand parking lots.
