Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Discover the uniqueness of another person through becoming a friend with one or more of those men and women now living at the Manor. Some have outlived all of their family and friends. Other residents don't get to see their families or friends very often.
Visit with a resident in their room, enjoy a board game or cards in our recreational spaces, walk inside our home-like hallways with them, visit our llamas-donkeys-ducks and sit on park benches, enjoy outside gardens & patios, discover that you may have more in common than you thought.

For the most enjoyable experience, you should be comfortable meeting new people,enjoy being with people, be flexible, and especially be a good listener. All other screening, training and orientation are provided.

FROM BARRINGTON, RI Take Route 114 East toward Warren and Bristol, At the intersection with Route 103, Turn LEFT onto Route 103 and then RIGHT onto Route 136 South for several miles. Just after Arnold Lumber which is on your right, there will be a stop light. At the light, TURN RIGHT onto Chestnut Street, then TURN RIGHT onto Alan Drive, and then TURN RIGHT onto Dawn Hill Road which is St. Elizabeth Manor. Please park in the right or left hand parking lots. FROM FALL RIVER, MA Take Route 195 WEST to Exit 2. Take Exit 2, Route 136 SOUTH (toward Warren & Bristol) Go for 6.3 miles.
