Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on September 22, 2009 |
Warwick Museum of Art is an exciting place to be! Our Museum has been increasing our art exhibits, programs and fundraisers in our beautiful gallery. We are in need of volunteers to help with Opening Receptions, fund raisers and special events at the Museum. If you are available on an occasional Thursday or Friday evening or on a Saturday during the day, this may be the position for you. You will help to get the Museum ready for the exhibit opening receptions and assist at fundraisers and other special events. There is no heavy lifting required. If have an appreciation for the arts and are outgoing and friendly, please contact us. You will also be helping with tasks such as serving food, collecting tickets and/or selling raffle tickets, and welcoming guests to the Museum. Why not pair up with a friend to help and enjoy an evening together? Reliability is crucial and transportation is a necessity. Volunteers will be trained by Museum staff, members of the Board of Directors and volunteers. Appreciation and an interest in art and the performing arts is a plus. This opportunity is sponsored by: Warwick Museum of Art
