Many of our hospice patients are alone and would love to be enveloped in a warm shawl or lap robe. Would you like to help comfort someone who is approaching end of life by knitting, crocheting or quilting a shawl or lap robe?

Skills

Shawls/lap robes should be approximately 30" x 45" and made from soft yarns. Please enclose a card with your FIRST NAME ONLY that this shawl/lap robe was handmade.

Please call the Volunteer Department at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island to arrange pickup/delivery or mail completed shawls/lap robes to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, Volunteer Department, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
