If you wish to join the *"green" team at South County Habitat for Humanity's ReStore, please consider the following volunteer opportunity:

Volunteer to do pick-ups for our ReStore, using our vehicle, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and/or Saturdays from 8 am until noon.

Also needed are volunteers to help remove materials (ie cabinets, doors, windows) from houses scheduled for demolition.

*The ReStore's mission is to sell donated used and new building supplies and appliances which may otherwise end up in a landfill. The proceeds are used to help finance our affordable housing construction efforts.

Let us know when you are available and we can work around your schedule!

Volunteers need to be at least 18 years of age, able-bodied and able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. We provide a back brace and instructions on proper lifting techniques. A commitment of at least twice per month is requested. Some basic carpentry skill would be helpful, but training will be available.
